What does PWR Logistics do?
PWR Logistics is a minority-owned logistics company headquartered in Miami, Florida. We provide freight brokerage and truckload, chemical-grade tanker transport, intermodal rail, port and rail drayage, LTL, warehousing, transloading and bulk-to-tote packaging across the United States, with cross-border service to Canada, Mexico and Puerto Rico. Does PWR Logistics pick up used IBC totes for free?
Yes. Through the PWR Tote Exchange, PWR Logistics picks up used IBC totes from your facility at no charge. Call 1 (877) PWR-FULL, email info@pwrlogistics.com or use the contact form with your location and the number of totes, and we'll schedule a pickup.
What happens to IBC totes after PWR picks them up?
Each tote is reconditioned: we clean the bladder (the inner plastic bottle), clean the steel cage, and examine the valves. The reconditioned totes then go back into service across the USA, Canada and Mexico instead of ending up in a landfill.
Can PWR Logistics ship hazardous chemicals?
Yes. We ship both hazardous and non-hazardous materials, including dry or liquid bulk, HAZMAT bulk and domestic ISO tank shipments. We adhere to all federal and state regulatory requirements and practice the American Chemistry Council's Responsible Care® recommended protocols.
What products do your chemical tankers haul?
Our tanker service handles acids, corrosives, cleaning compounds, industrial chemicals, petroleum products, oils and lubricants, fragrances and pharmaceuticals, as well as ISO tank containers, IBC totes and flexi bags. Equipment is washed between loads to prevent cross-contamination.
Can you transfer liquid from a tanker into totes or drums?
Yes. We package liquid material from tankers into totes or drums — sealed and labeled for storage, resale or smaller deliveries — and we consolidate material from drums or totes back into one bulk tanker load.
